Although born in Vancouver, Canada, Hayden Christensen moved to Toronto when he was very young. Hayden got into the world of acting by fluke when he was 12. His older sister, who was a Junior Trampoline World Champion, was looking to get an agent, and when Hayden went with her, the agent asked Hayden if he was interested in doing commercials!

Christensen, the third of four children, was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to Alie, a speechwriter for the heads of large companies, and David Christensen, a software program writer. His father is of Danish/English descent and his mother has Italian/Swedish ancestry.[1]
