According to the author, the main character Harry Potter appeared in her head whilst she was on a train from Manchester to London in 1991. Her favourite place to write the first book was at an Edinburgh cafГ© table while drinking endless cups of coffee. Sales from the books as well as royalties from films and merchandise have made Rowling a billionaire and the 620th wealthiest person in the world [1]. There is good news for Canadian fans awaiting the release of the film "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." The legal motion filed by the Wyrd Sisters in an attempt to block the film's release in Canada has just been dismissed by the Ontario Superior Court.
