DALLAS, March 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Hanson Pipe & Precast today announced the opening of their new, state-of-the-art, fully automated Houston facility. Some of the technology at the 100,000-square-foot Houston facility will be used for the very first time in the world. The facility is designed to produce considerable amounts of concrete pipe products, including those used for storm water drainage systems, sewers and water treatment, for the growing Houston market. The facility will be fully operational in March and a grand opening gala is planned to benefit the Houston Museum of Natural Science.

DALLAS, July 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Hanson Pipe & Precast today announced the acquisition of Austin-based Tullos, Inc., which operates under the business name Texas Concrete Products (TCP). The facility produces thin wall knock out boxes, storm inlets and other precast storm water products. Located on five acres approximately 15 miles south of downtown Austin, TCP has been manufacturing products for Hanson for more than 15 years and will now be joining the company in name and management.

DALLAS, June 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Columbus, Ohio is now home to one of the most modern concrete manufacturing facilities in the state thanks to Hanson Pipe & Precast's $10 million expansion of its Columbus facility. Hanson expanded its Columbus operations to support the area's growing and diverse economy. The facility will be fully operational in June with a grand opening celebration June 28. To commemorate the newly expanded site, Hanson will make a donation to Children's Miracle Network benefiting Columbus Children's Hospital.
