Halo 3 is about audio just as much is it is about video. Make sure you have your speakers turned up loud enough that you can hear your own footsteps while walking. A pair of headphones works even better so that you don't have to disturb anyone else.

Just in time for the big Halo 3 rollout tomorrow, master LEGO builder Nathan Sawaya creates a likeness of that mofo Master Chief, which he says is his most-requested object these days. The video shows a lot of the other amazing creations done by this attorney turned LEGO artist. As you can see by his work, there's a few good reasons why he earns more money as a LEGO dude than he did as an attorney. [MTV]

The campaign, which is very good, is Halo 3's weakest point. It doesn't capture the cavalier spirit of the original Halo, but you'll still have fun playing through it. There's no first-person shooter on 360 that can equal Halo 3's blend of cinematic action, adrenaline-pumping shootouts, and male- (and female)-bonding gameplay. Look beyond the gameplay and you have a rich feature set unlike anything ever delivered in a videogame.

Eager fans today cracked open the hot new video game Halo 3, only to discover that their game discs were already scratched. The IMMI study compared television and movie viewing patterns of “Halo 3″ players before the videogame’s release to viewing patterns after its release. Prior to the launch, “Halo 3″ players watched an average of 27.1 hours of television per week; following the launch the same group watched an average of 26.9 hours of television per week showing no significant statistical difference. Movie-going habits remained unchanged.
