Hal Sutton began his PGA career in 1981. Hal has won 14 PGA tournaments and is one of the toughest competitors on the tour. At the time of this writing Hal has won over $14 million and is ranked 9th in all time winnings. Hal hits his driver an average of 275 yards and reaches greens in regulation 65 to 70% of the time.
Hal Sutton is known as one of the best players on the PGA Tour. His swing technique utilizes the solid fundamentals of using the "big muscles" to create a swing that can be consistently repeated, even under pressure.

Hal Sutton entered into the Golf Course design business in 1999 with the opening of his first signature course, Olde Oaks Golf Club, located in Bossier City, Louisiana. Olde Oaks is a 27-hole course that is open to the public and has received great reviews.
When Hal Sutton pounds his fist into his palm, it makes a concussive thwack that makes you wonder if he's going to hurt himself. Breaking a de facto vow of silence that's lasted two years, since he captained the U.S. to its (then) singular 18 1/2 to 9 1/2 defeat at Oakland Hills, Sutton sat for an interview with GOLF MAGAZINE last week at Boot Ranch, his new luxury golf club in the sweeping Texas hill country.
