Haganah is the Hebrew word for “defense”, and this system is a complete Israeli combative methodology based on Israeli martial arts and Israeli military tactics combining the best of the best of combat-proven Israeli fighting and defense strategies. Haganah incorporates 4 different Israeli systems – Krav Maga, the main Israeli defense system, and Hisardut, KAPAP, LOTAR which are the Israeli aggressive systems. Its integrated structure is the key to its effectiveness.

Haganah is primarily a mix of Israeli martial arts - called Krav Maga and Hisardut - and Israeli military systems. KAPAP is the teaching system used in the Israeli military and is the Hebrew acronym for "Face to Face Combat".
