Minibuses travel throughout Guyana and are the cheapest way to travel. Minibus fares range from $60 GYD - $1,000GYD ($1 USD =$ 205 GYD) depending on the length of the journey. Travel in this mode at night could be risky.

A new PR adviser, A. J. Hockenhull, was subsequently sent to Guyana. He proposed a three-dimensional campaign employing the press, radio broadcasts and movies to deliver the state's message. From a post-war budget of BWI $29,000, the Legislative Council (then without elected representatives) was asked to provide $750,000 for the battle to win the 'hearts and minds' of the Guyanese populace, away from the original PPP.

COOLIDGE, Antigua: Sir Allen Stanford received an exquisite sculpture of the Stanford 20/20 logo just prior to the Guyana versus Bermuda match on Sunday February 10. The sculpture, accessorised with gold and diamonds, was designed and commissioned by Bobby Hussain of Guyana.

On the fifth core issue, he said the award has made it possible for CGX and other licensees to resume their petroleum exploration activities on the Guyana side of the equidistance line. According to the USFWS report, the monkeys reached Miami from Guyana on Amerijet Airlines at 1 a.m. on 19 May 1998. The monkeys were due to leave for Japan at 8 a.m., seven hours later. But they didn't leave.
