In Fall 2007, Guster is headlining the Crocs Next Step Campus Tour with Brett Dennen as a support act. The tour will promote eco-friendly “green†initiatives while educating attendees on ways to help the environment. The tour will be stopping at fifteen colleges including Michigan State University, Pennsylvania State University, the University of Vermont, the University of Florida, and Vanderbilt University.

In 2006, Guster named their spring tour the Campus Consciousness Tour. They toured with The Format. They powered their buses and trucks with biodiesel and aimed to use the tour to teach audiences about the environment. Participation in early 2007 IZStyle Winter Tour is similarly goaled.

Guster, veterans of the Campus Consciousness Tour, is back out on the road. The alt-rock trio plays a blend of roots and pop music that's easy to sing along with, a mixture that they seem to have perfected on their latest, Ganging Up on the Sun.

The indy pop rockers Guster were green before it was cool. In addition to being “carbon neutral” by buying renewable energy offsets and driving a bio-diesel tour bus, they have canned food drives at every show, raise bio-awareness through Campus Consciousness tour dates, in addition to merch made with organic cotton and post-consumer recycled paper products.
