1. Guns N' Roses
   SLASH of Guns N'Roses, Velvet Revolver, SLASH's Snakepit, and SLASH's Blues Ball is a great musician. This hard rocking lead guitarist plays from the heart with a blues edge. 2. Guns N' Roses -- Bands
   Nirvana's Nevermind hit number one in early 1992, suddenly making Guns N' Roses -- with all of their pretensions, impressionistic videos, models, and [R]ock star excesses -- seem very uncool. Rose handled the change by becoming a dictator, or at least a petty tyrant; his in-concert temper tantrums became legendary, even going so far as to incite a riot in Montreal. Stradlin left by the end of 1991, and with his departure the band lost their best songwriter; he was replaced by ex-Kill for Thrills guitarist Gilby Clarke. The band didn't fully grasp the shift in hard rock until 1993, when they released an album of punk covers, The Spaghetti Incident?; it received some good reviews, but the band failed to capture the reckless spirit of not only the original versions, but their own Appetite for Destruction. By the middle of 1994, there were rumors flying that the band was about to break up, since Rose wanted to pursue a new, more industrial direction and Slash wanted to stick with their blues-inflected hard rock. The band remained in limbo for several more years, and Slash resurfaced in 1995 with the side project Slash's Snakepit and an LP, It's Five O'Clock Somewhere.
3. Guns N' Roses -- Tours
   Guns N' Roses completed their European Tour in July 2006 with their second consecutive sold out show at London's Wembley Arena. The tour, which started May 25th in Madrid, Spain, played to 700,000 plus people over 32 shows in 18 countries, making it one of the biggest tours of the year on the continent and in the UK.
4. Guns N' Roses -- Albums
   Guns N’ Roses leader Axl Rose spoke with Rolling Stone about the long-awaited Chinese Democracy album: “It’s a very complex record. I’m trying to do something different. Some of the arrangements are kind of like Queen. We’re working on thirty-two songs, and twenty-six are nearly done.” Of the completed songs, Rose said thirteen would make it onto the album, which still has no official release date.
5. Axl Rose -- Guns N' Roses
   Axl Rose isn't taking any blame for the Guns N' Roses concert that was cancelled in Vancouver last Thursday (November 7). The show's promoter put the kibosh on the show — a full hour after the venue's doors were scheduled to open — after he discovered that Rose had not arrived in Vancouver. Fans waiting outside of Vancouver's GM Place incited a riot after the cancellation announcement was made.
6. Guns N' Roses -- Steven Adler
   Fomer Guns N Roses drummer Steven Adler is being held hostage by cholo bodyguards in his own house. He’s supposedly handcuffed to a chair and has pooped and pissed himself. (Hahahahahha!) Adler — the guy who always looks like he just snorted a bunch of cocaine and keeps saying GNR is going to reunite — is suposedly being abused ‘for his own good.’ Adler’s Appetite lead singer Sheldon Tarsha explains the situation:
7. Axl Rose
   Rock band front-man Axl Rose has been found dead in a Las Vegas hotel room, authorities report. Rose, who had allegedly very recently fell back into the world of drug use after being clean and sober for years, was found with "a large amount of narcotics", Bill Sayer, spokesperson for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept. stated Wednesday. Inquiries into the types of narcotics found with Rose went unanswered.
8. Axl Rose -- Band
   Slash has gone on the record to basically say that his ex-bandmate, Axl Rose is a mental case. Slash says that Axl once fell asleep on his mother’s couch and his grandmother had nowhere to sit. He tried to speak on the situation, but Axl hopped out of the car at 35-40mph.
9. Axl Rose -- Cleopatra Records
   Axl Rose will sing on three songs on Sebastian Bach's new album, Angel Down. "They are all different, with different approaches and styles from each other and from material I have on the upcoming Guns N’ Roses record," said Rose. "For me, the timing couldn’t be better and I’m quite surprised to be on one song, let alone three!!!"
