Taking place one year after the GUNDAM WING television series, ENDLESS WALTZ finds both the Earth and the colonies at peace. With all conflict seemingly resolved, the Gundam pilots have sent their Gundams into the sun.

Wing Zero is ... one of the default playable mobile suits in Original mode of the video game Dynasty Warriors: Gundam, with Heero as it's default pilot. Despite the Endless Waltz version now the declared canon design, the Okawara design was used for this game.

Heero repaired the Wing Gundam using parts from the Deathsythe, to Duo's dismay, and eventually came to the New Edwards Base. Here, all five of the Gundam pilots were united, thinking they were about to destroy OZ. However, Heero cut an OZ carrier in half with a cut with his beam sword before he knew that it held the pacifistic leader of the Alliance military, Field Marshall Noventa. OZ's leader, Treize Khushrenada, had tricked the Gundam pilots, and the ramifictations were clear when OZ took over the world unopposed.
