built 235 days ago
Julius Henry "Groucho" Marx (1890-1977) was born in New York City. He began his entertainment career at an early age when his first job was singing in an Episcopal church choir. Later he combined with members of his family and toured in a vaudeville skit called "Fun in Hiskule," 1904-41, and found success on Broadway and in the film industry. Groucho then made six movies as a solo, as well as teamed up with many other well-known entertainers in radio and television shows. After a 10-year retirement, he went back into show business in 1972. He died in 1977 at age 87.

Whatever the reason, the management at Eden Memorial Park responded to the incident by moving Marx's remains to a more remote location in a room inside the mausoleum, and installing security monitoring devices throughout the cemetery. And they ... are reluctant to give out the location of any of their more-famous residents.

The book is interspersed with the quotable quotes Groucho made personally and in his broadway hits and movies such as Duck Soup and Animal Crackers. Though most of the quotes are very incisive and humorous, there are portions in the book where the reader is given an overdose of dialogues from the movies.
