Greg Owen is a Seattle-based artist and glassblower. He has participated at Pilchuck in many capacities, including as staff member, artist?s assistant, and 2004 Pilchuck Auction centerpiece designer. In 2002, he was an artist in residence at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, a fellow at the Vermont Studio Center, and ... spent time at a yoga ashram in India. In 2003, he received a fellowship from the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Greg?s work is exhibited extensively throughout Seattle.

Chrysler Classic of Greensboro Forest Oaks CC Greensboro, North Carolina B Despite bad weather plaguing all but the first round of the Chrysler Classic, TaylorMade Staffers Daniel Chopra, Greg Owen and Joe Ogilvie remained focused enough to each capture top-15 finishes. Chopra, who began the third round Saturday in a tie for 56th, fired seven birdies and only one bogey for a 6-under-66 equaling the best round of the day. The 66 moved him up 50 spots on the leaderboard to T6 which is where he would finish the tournament and earn his fifth top-10 of the season. Overall, Chopra ranked T1 in Eagles with two and was T10 in Driving Accuracy playing the r7 425 TP. Also playing the r7 425 TP, Joe Ogilvie and Greg Owen each finished T12 at 10-under. Ogilvie, who started the final day T28, moved up 16 spots with a 67 that included five birdies and no bogeys.
On the European Tour this week, Greg Owen fired a final-round 71 to win the Daily Telegraph Damovo British Masters at the Marriott Forest of Arden Golf Club in England. It is Greg’s first victory in 158 European Tour International Schedule starts and it results in a 42-position improvement to World No.94. Ian Poulter was one of two runners-up and he continues his rise up the world rankings to No.77= while France’s Christian Cevaer improves to World No.332.
Up and coming European and US winning golfer Greg Owen has been appointed as the new ambassador for Vitabiotics’ Jointace range of products. Greg, who recently qualified for his US PGA Tour, will front the Jointace advertising campaign that will focus on the benefits of joint care products for golfing enthusiasts and other selected sports as part of its 2005 strategy.
