Saturday 19 May 2007: The fourth week of the live Grease is the Word television programme. David Ian admitted to the remaining finalists that the judges "hadn't got it right with the pairs." Therefore this week the pairings where mixed up. David thought this would ... help to see how the finalists coped with the change - "As a professional working in the theatre, you could come into work on any given day to find that your leading lady or leading man is unwell and not able to perform. You need to be able to go on stage, turn that chemistry on, and give the same performance." The song theme this week was love songs and after each of the new 'Danny and Sandy' couples had sung their songs and the public votes where added up, it was announced that the two couples with the least votes where Alison and Danny R along with Lauren and Bradley - thus these two couples had to face each other in the dreaded sing-off, when the judges could save only one pair.

Grease is the word for every generation. The film may be viewed by some as little more than the cinematic equivalent of a cheese-puff, all flavor and no substance. But that flies in the face of the movie’s ability to entertain as much in 2003 as it did in 1978.
