In its seventh year, The Super Bowl Gospel Celebration evolved from NFL players suggesting an event during Super Bowl Weekend that highlighted Gospel music. The event has drawn thousands and has proven to be one of the most attended events during Super Bowl Weekend. Each year, the gospel concert features the industry's top artists joined by several current and former NFL players. In the past, NFL greats Antwaan Randle El, Cris Carter, Curtis Martin, Kurt Warner, Michael Barrow, Troy Vincent, Qadry Ismail, Aeneas Williams, Deion Sanders, Quincy Carter, LaVar Arrington, Bryan Scott and others have given their time to the event. Players share their testimonies and inspirational messages with the audience.

GOSPELflava.com Anniversary Celebration in Chicago— The much-awaited GOSPELflava.com Anniversary in conjunction with an unprecedented celebration of the undisputed Queen of Gospel Music, Mahalia Jackson, at the birthplace of Gospel music, Chicago, has been postponed to a later date in 2008. More information will be forthcoming as events unfold, and the rescheduled date is announced. (revised January 27, 2008)

Hailing from south/central Wisconsin, True North is an all acoustic gospel music group. They produce a variety of sounds ranging from traditional bluegrass, tight acappella harmonies, to more contemporary gospel music. Mandolin, guitar, upright bass, violin, banjo, penny whistle, and occasionally flute and cello blend to create a unique and appealing sound. They have played in churches, prisons, and special events throughout Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
