Goku and Superman are fighting on some evil planet with gooey geen stuff oozing from volcanos (nothing unusual for Goku). Goku throws a few punches and shhots a few hyperbeams, but Superman is in the lead. Just then, Goku yells out "YOU HAVE NOT YET WITNESSED MY TRUE POWER!" Nothing unusual. Blablabla, the battle drags on for 674.5 episodes in which Goku gets increasingly stronger and so does Superman. Near the end, Goku suddely pulls out a bottle of blode hair dye and does his hair.

Goku is able to transform into various Saiyan-specific forms which greatly enhance his power level. It must be noted that Goku is the only Saiyan in the entire series to achieve all known Saiyan transformations. As a child, he was able to involuntarily transform into the Saiyan were-monkey called Oozaru when exposed to the full moon. He later lost this ability after his tail was removed near the end of the original Dragon Ball series. However, Goku regrows his tail in the third sub-series Dragon Ball GT and is able to attain the alternate and far stronger Golden Oozaru form. In the series, Goku is the first Saiyan to achieve the legendary Super Saiyan state in over a millennium.[6] Goku ascended to Super Saiyan after being overcome with rage by the murder of Kuririn in the hands of Freeza.[7] He employs this transformation extensively throughout the series, eventually gaining two further advanced states called the Super Saiyan 2nd Grade and Super Saiyan 3rd Grade.

Goku is introduced in the series as a young boy, living alone in the wilderness after the death of his adoptive grandfather. At the start of the series, Goku claims his age to be fourteen... it is later discovered that he was actually twelve, the mishap occurring from his own mathematical error. Goku is discovered by a young city girl named Bulma, who is searching for the Dragon Balls, seven magical balls that when brought together summon Shenlong. Goku possesses one of the balls, and Bulma offers him the opportunity to travel the world with her, looking for the rest of them. Goku accepts the offer, wanting to fulfill his dream of becoming the world's strongest martial artist.

[S]o the adventure was on. But Goku was never interested in making a wish. See, he doesn't have a selfish bone in his body. to explore the world, and learn to be a true warrior. That he did, for during his quest with Bulma he circled the globe searching for Dragon Balls, and eventually came under the tutelage of the great martial artist Master Roshi, who actually trained Grandpa Gohan in his youth. His supernatural adventures brought him into the sights of Kami, the god of Earth, who ... took Goku under his wing. These teachers helped Goku blossom from a rugged young boy into a graceful martial artist, who always managed to become just powerful enough to topple any foe.
