Picking up where the previous title left off, the Z Warriors are reveling in their current state of peace and awaiting the arrival of Goku. That peace is suddenly shattered by the appearance of Freeza and King Cold as they intend to destroy the earth before Goku can return. With their appearance, a mysterious warrior named Trunks appears to save the day. Revealing his true super saiyan power, Trunks makes short work of these evil doers and guides the Z Warriors to Goku's landing zone. Upon Goku's arrival, Trunks reveals his true identity and foretells of the horrible future that is to come as a result of Dr. Gero's evil android creations. Sounds a little farfetched right?

Though Kakarrot is Goku's original name, he prefers to be called by his Earth name "Goku". The Saiyan prince, named Vegeta, never refers to him by his Earth name as he believes Goku should be proud of his heritage. When Goku learns of his origins as an extraterrestrial, he rejects his heritage, but later accepts it during his battle with the galactic overlord Freeza, due to him realizing that the Saiyans were only violent and destructive because Freeza forced them to be so.[3] Due to a unique trait in Saiyan genetics, Goku's physique almost perfectly mimics his father's. Another unique trait in Saiyan genetics is that they evolved to retain their youthfulness for combat, so as a result, Goku ages slowly when he reaches adulthood, appearing very young even when he is middle-aged.

The WB Supes got KO'd by the Female Furies & only defeated Darkseid by Using His Own Power Against Him (TM), He isn't fit to teach Goku's kid the alphabet. Even against the current less dorky comic book version Goku has a shot, maybe 3-in-7 falls. But against the "planet-crushing. . .faster than light" Superman, aka the pre-Crisis on Infinite Earths Superman, Goku has no chance. The guy is as smart as anyone this side of Reed and Doom and is immune to anything but magic, kryptonite, & red solar energy. And even foes with those forces at their command have fallen to his speed, which on foot rivals and in the air exceeds that of the current Flash, and his kryptonian strength, which allowed him to pummel the Anti-Monitor with a couple of planetoids, a moon, and, finally, a haymaker that not even Galactus would walk away from.

Supes freakin slaughters Goku. Hes much stronger. Goku struggles to lift 40 tons, Superman has lifted 40 billion tons. Goku ... has yet to move at the speed of light, Superman has exceeded the speed of light. This is shown when Lex Luthor became president, Supes was so pissed that he flew from the Earth to Saturn on 4 minutes. Light speed takes 17 minutes.

Superman can take more punishment that Goku. So what? Offense is greater than defense. Goku has side kicks that make the Death Star look like a squirt gun. Goku himself could take out entire Galaxies if he really wanted to. And in Dark Knight Returns, Superman was pretty messed up by a mere nuke.

A private eye named Goku investigates a number of suicides of police officers. When he encounters the woman responsible for those suicides, he is caught by her supernatural powers and the only way to survive was to stab his own eye out. Now replaced with a cybernetic implant that allows him to access nearly every computer on earth and equipped with a powerful rod that can extend to quite a length, he resumes the investigation only to find out it falls deeper into the net of underground rulers.
