All these points considered together would seem to indicate that this attack by the forces of Gog is nothing less than the Devil's final attempt to destroy the people and the faith of the true God! Could the words of Haman to King Xerxes of Persia correspond to future words or thoughts of Satan inculcated into the minds of the nations symbolized by Gog:

Gog was believed to have fallen to his death on Nespis 8, but reappeared on Kiva hoping to capture Hoole and regain control over Project Starscream. Gog activated the biological weapon Eppon, but it turned on him, forcing him to kill it. Gog himself was executed by the wraiths of the dead Kivans, after it was revealed that he was the one responsible for their deaths.

(Astonishing Tales#18) - Gog grabbed Ka-Zar, squeezing his chest and forcing his surrender. A SHIELD pilot then dropped off Zabu and Bobbi Morse, and Zabu bit Gog's tail, but was quickly hurled away. The Plunderer then instructed Gog to let Ka-Zar go and transport them to AIM's English headquarters, but Gog instead transported them to the water just off Liberty Island, somehow doubling in size in the process. The Plunderer realized that Gog was no longer responding to his commands as Gog scaled the Statue of Liberty, tearing off its torch hand. Searching the skyline, Gog spied the tallest building in New York City and then teleported atop of it (see comments), inadvertently taking Zabu with him. Now even larger, the immense Gog gazed into space and then slammed his bracelets together again, vanishing to parts unknown.

While "Gog" is symbolic of these masses of humanity who oppose God, it seems quite valid ... to take the name as the title, again symbolic, of the leader of these forces who rise up to rebel against God. From The New John Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible:
