Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan (B&GCSM) is a youth development organization providing a positive environment that enables its members to become responsible, self-reliant, caring adults. The Clubs are open during the school year to children ages 6-18 (grades 1-12). The Boys and Girls Club of Middle TN has been serving the Nashville area since 1904. It has 400 volunteer and full-time employees and provides service to 5,000 children. The Thompson Lane club is one of the most diversified clubs in the United States. There are 19 different languages spoken at the club. The members are from 10 different African countries, as well as Egypt, Israel, Puerto Rico, Haiti, and France. There ... are representatives from each Central America country, South America, and Mexico.
