In 1994 Gillian Anderson had a daughter named Piper. She is currently working on A Cock and Bull Story and No One Gets Off in This Town.

The long-rumored second X-Files movie is back in the news today, after David Duchovny recently told reporters that he and Gillian Anderson are wrapping up negotiations for the long-awaited film this week. Should things go as planned (and who knows if they will, as plans for a second X-Files movie have been in the works for years), shooting will commence in 2008.

Gillian Anderson has a pretty interesting TV career. She went from obscurity to international fame when “The X-Files” burst onto the scene in the early ’90s. The fate for Gillian Anderson was not sure for this stunning beauty first wanted to be a marine biologist. Gillian Anderosn was born on August 9,1968 in Chicago, Illinois, USA to the parents Edward and Rosemary. She was originally from hippies but her parents were hippies. soon after her birth her family moved to Puerto Rico for fifteen months and then to Crouch End in London. When she was eleven, her family moved again, this time to Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she attended City Middle/High School, a program for gifted students with a strong emphasis on the humanities. With her English accent and background, she felt out of place in the American Midwest, and developed a reputation as a strong-willed and rebellious teenager..

Gillian Anderson started her career as a member of an amateur actor group, while at high school. Her love of the theatre took her to the national theatre of Great Britain at the Cornell University of Ithaca, in New York. Afterwards, Anderson left for the Goodman Theatre School of the DePaul University in Chicago, where she finished her education. Her film career started with the movie Turning, The (1992) in 1992, then she moved onto the X-Files (with David Duchovny) as Dana Scully. There she met her future husband (Clyde Klotz), marrying on January 1st 1994. One month later, Gillian was pregnant.

Gillian Anderson was born on the 9th of August 1968. She lived with two other siblings in Puerto Rico, and ... for 9 years in London [Crouch End and Haringey], while her father attended film school. At the age of 11, she moved to Michigan, where she attended Fountain Elementary. After graduating from high school at City High in 1986, she moved to Chicago and attended the Goodman Theater School at DePaul University. She gained her Bachelor of Fine Arts and then moved to New York. Gillian first gained recognition as an actress for her off-Broadway performance in Alan Ayckbourne’s “Absent Friends” at the Manhattan, and is best known for her role as Agent Scully in the TV series “The X Files”.
