In the years that The Ghosts of Ohio has been in operation, group members have collectively visited more than 200 public haunted locations in the state of Ohio alone. They have ... conducted more than 50 investigations of private homes. In addition, The Ghosts of Ohio maintains a database of all reported haunted sites in Ohio. Currently, the database contains well over 2000 entries.

Ghosts are an indie/pop band from London and were 9th on the BBC's Sound Of 2007 poll.[1] Before signing with Atlantic Records in November 2006 they were previously known as Polanski. Their sound can be compared to the likes of Keane, Thirteen Senses, The Bluetones and even Radiohead.

Three months on, Ghosts have almost completed work on their debut album, due in the Spring. Before then there's a limited edition 7" single, Musical Chairs/Departure Lounge, and a residency at London's Water Rats throughout January. Plus, of course, endless tours up and down the UK and beyond. And then? Who knows. What's certain is that Ghosts won't be content until their euphoric pop songs are echoing from the very biggest stages.

The sixth member of the Playground Ghosts, Bernie Hou (Alien Loves Predator), was invited into the group on October 1, 2006. The Playground Ghosts often travel the country as a gang, attending independent comic conventions and leaving a trail of awesome.
