It's a silly funereal spectacle, with the first episode as its probable format: the ghost first appears in macabre makeup, spooking young Melinda Gordon (Jennifer Love Hewitt) in her low-cut nightie. Then as they reach an understanding, the phantom reappears good as new and Melinda trots around her picture-perfect small town, performing errands on the ghost's behalf. Eventually she orders up a double dose of closure, with grateful glances sent her way through teary eyes.

Things to do in the Village of Jim Thorpe Group member playing at Penn’s Peak staying in room 203 was freaking-out because he claims the ghost put his cell phone in the refrigerator. He spent a long time looking for his cell phone, had someone call it to make it ring. To his amazement it was in the refrigerator which he claims he never was in till he heard his phone ringing inside. He was so flipped out that he brought up everyone from his group to check out his room before they left.

The following two short stories were written by the Ghostmaster back in 1996. He likes to call them "byte-sized" short stories. One summer night, about midnight, during a full moon, the Ghostmaster picked up his laptop and took a walk about a half mile into the woods behind his house. The idea was to listen to the peepers (tree frogs) and see what kind of stories, if any, might come to mind. He sat on the ground, leaned up against an old oak tree, and waited for inspiration of some sort.
The building has been haunted since at least 1937, when a sighting of the ghost was first reported by the custodian. It was his custom to come into the library very early in the morning, particularly during the winter, to stoke the furnace.
Apparition - Since the early 17th century, this refers to any ghost that seems to have material substance. It appears in any physical form, including a vapor-like image, for very short periods of time. It may be called an apparition. Apparitions of animals, humans, and even inanimate objects have been seen.
