At 23 epicenters across 5 regions of Ghana, it mobilizes and empowers the people of more than 250 villages to meet their basic needs. At each epicenter, the people of 10-15 surrounding villages work together to create and run their own programs in health, education, nutrition, food production, food processing, adult literacy and microfinance. For several years now Ghana has been playing host to an ever-increasing number of visitors, especially tourists from all over the world. Ghanaians are a hospitable, respectable and peace-loving people. One could tell from their greeting forms and general behavior. Ghanaians have wide and generous smiles when you greet them. Traditionally, children are taught in their homes to respect their elders. A child who fails to observe social value is considered as untrained and uncultured.

Ho is a small but lively city in the South East of Ghana. It is located at the foot of the Kaba hills and is therefore the perfect starting place for walks and visits to villages and water falls in the surroundings. Kpetoe, just a few kilometres from Ho, is an important centre of the famous, colourful Kente fabric. In Kpandu, a port city at the Volta storage reservoir you can enjoy the lively fish market and you can make a tour with a local fishing boat on the lake. There are a few villages in the surroundings where you can live the hospitality of the people. By staying in one of these villages you will be able to get a good inside view on Ghanese life.
