George Clooney is an Academy Award- and two-time Golden Globe winning American actor, director, producer and screenwriter. He was first known for his role in the first five seasons of the long-running television drama "ER". After leaving "ER", Clooney starred in major Hollywood successes, such as, "Three Kings", "The Perfect Storm", and "O Brother, Where Art Thou?". In 2001, he teamed up with Steven Soderbergh for "Ocean's Eleven".

Clooney played in two different TV hospital shows, E/R, a 1984 half-hour sitcom starring Elliott Gould, and ten years later ER, the hour-long medical melodrama.
