Hollywood hunk George Clooney almost didn’t make it as an actor, because he lied to a casting agent trying to get his first break. The actor was desperate to land his first movie role and tried to trick a studio boss into believing he had previously worked on 1982 movie Cat People. George was caught red-handed in the lie, because it was the same casting agent for both movies.

Access Hollywood says "According to Clooney's publicist this is not true" and Reality TV Magazine says "not true according to Katharine’s publicist".
