When Geoff Stults and his brother were in high school, they heard that a young lady they both had a crush on was trying out for the Spring Musical. Although Stults' main interest was football, he decided to try out for the play. He got one of the lead roles, and it was then that he fell in love with acting.

He was popularly known for his role as Ben Kinkirk on the drama series 7th Heaven, brother of Kevin Kinkirk, who just happened to be his real-life brother George Stults. His other credits included The Break-up, Wedding Crashers, and In the Mix.
