Based in Detroit, Mich., Interactive Capacity Gateway, LLC was created out of third-party logistics provider, NLM. With its industry-leading technology heritage, executives within NLM recognized a need for a software company that was dedicated to the unique technology requirements of logistics management. While the company was born from the strong technology heritage of NLM, Interactive Capacity Gateway will operate as an independent company focused solely on software solutions.
The Gateway facility will be operated by Genco Distribution System, a third-party logistics provider based in Pittsburgh, Pa, and will employ more than 200 people. Hershey ... selected Waukesha, Wis.-based Red Prairie's Warehouse Management System, DM Plus(R), and labor management package, CALM(R), as the technology enabler for superior service and efficiency. The Korte Company of Highland, Ill., will serve as the design/build contractor on the structure which will feature a 39-foot ceiling, 160 dock doors, and full temperature control.
Gateway is taking orders now; prices start at $5,869. For more information on Gateway products, customers can visit http://www.gateway.com/ or call 1-800-GATEWAY.
