Nikon's Coolpix 4300 was ... lauded by Best Magazine in the "Consumer Digital Camera" category alongside the Gateway DC-T50, in a two-way tie. Other awards were handed to Canon for the Digital Rebel ("Prosumer Digital Camera" category) and EOS-1Ds ("Professional Digital Camera" category). Sony and Panasonic tied in the "Digital Video Camera" category with their DCR-PC330 and VDR-M30 models respectively.
