Gaston Gaudio is a very 'mental' player. When he really feels like playing he is a great player. He is probably among the five or six best clay court players in the world but mentally he's a little weak.

Tommy Robredo and David Nalbandian advanced to the third round of the Open Seat Godo on Tuesday, and former champions Marat Safin and Gaston Gaudio were eliminated in first round matches. Third-seeded Robredo beat fellow Spaniard Feliciano Lopez 6-2, 6-2 with five service breaks and 33 first-serve winners. Robredo next faces 15th-seeded Agustin Calleri.
