Through out the 1990's, Garth Brooks tickets were in high demand both here and overseas. He had several sold out overseas tours in the middle and late 90's. He performed concerts in Australia, Brazil, East Asia, New Zealand, Ireland, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the rest of Europe. During this period he continued to break all sales and concert attendance records. On August 7, 1997, he drew the largest crowd ever at New York City's Central Park. He estimated that there were about 900,000 people in and around the sold out arena.
