This memory card for the Gamecube can hold up to 59 blocks, which is about 4Mb. Using a memory card will make it possible to save high scores and your progress in games, meaning that you won´t have to start over again after you´ve turned the game off. It offers all the same functions just as the original Nintendo version.

The Gamecube is "cube" shaped, measuring approximately 6 by 6 by 5 inches. There's a handle on the back and a flip top lid (similar to PlayStation and Dreamcast) to insert the Gamecube mini DVD ROM. The mini disk format holds 1.5 gigabytes of info (190 times the size of the Super Mario 64 cartridge) and was developed by Nintendo and Matsushita.

If you're going to turn a Nintendo Gamecube into a handheld portable device, you should really spend a little more effort than this man here. Geekologie doesn't have any details on it, but as you can see, whoever did this just broke a regular GC controller in half, soldered some holes into a piece of plastic, lobotomized a portable DVD player and blended them all together. The result can only be described as something the OLPC's intended market would not want. [Geekologie]

If it were any other time the death of the sublime wireless Wavebird controller designed for Nintendo's Gamecube would have gone by with a tear and some good memories, but with Smash Bros. Brawl just around the corner it feels more like bad timing. A Nintendo customer service representative told GoNintendo that there aren't plans to restock Wavebird controllers in stores again; ... regular wired Gamecube controllers will continue to be available.

All in all, if you are a die hard Pac Man fan, you'll love this game for the Nintendo Gamecube. If you aren't interested, you might want to consider this one as rental. Even though it isn't a definitive Gamecube addition to your library, at least it makes up for the problems and the lackluster earlier Pac Man games that've tried to shine but flopped like Pac Man World 3 did.

The Nintendo WaveBird Controller uses revolutionary RF technology that allows people to play Nintendo Gamecube from anywhere in the room, without wires and without having to be directly in front of an infrared receiver. The same size as the standard GameCube controller, the WaveBird has a slightly extended lower end to accommodate two AA batteries that provide more than 100(!) gameplay hours of wireless control.
