Nintendo's Gamecube has been languishing in mediocrity and franchises ever since it was released several years ago. It has needed a cutting edge, mature, exclusive game for a long time, and Capcom thankfully delivers with Resident Evil 4. The newest entry in the venerable survival horror series, Resident Evil 4 is a welcomed departure from the usual kiddy fare Gamecube offers.

Nintendo Gamecube is the latest video game system produced by the Japanese company Nintendo. The system uses 3.5" proprietary DVDs for the games, and is the first system to be released with first-party wireless controllers.

The Nintendo Gamecube died on November 10, 2006. The orgins were apparentelly having a hard time "rendering artifacts" and stopped working. In 7:11 PM, Nintendo Gamecube died just before the organ donor, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, called to help. His mother and father, Supa Nes and Nintendo Sixty-Fo, broke down into a cry so comments werent made.

The market release of the newly rename Gamecube was September 14, 2001; Nintendo made a marketing error in releasing the GC in Japan first. It was a mediocre success. The major turning point came on November 18, 2001 when Nintendo released the Gamecube in the United States the package included fifteen game titles and has an amazing sixty frames per second video speed.

GamePro has put together a graph showing the NPD data on Nintendo's Gamecube and PlayStation 3 sales for their first 10 months after launch. The chart shows how in North America the PS3 sold 1.7 million units in its 10 months since launch compared to the GameCube's 2.2 million. Those that have already sent their rage into overdrive see the implication of this graph as the PS3 will "fail" like the Gamecube. Last week it was a 3DO comparison, this week it's the Gamecube. Although one can easily argue that the PS3 is neither.

Pac Man World Rally for the Nintendo Gamecube, tries to tackle itself, as more like a knockoff of the Mario Kart games from Nintendo, and the recent Sonic Riders air board racer from Sega.
