Gallbladder: Stones
built 638 days ago
The operation requires the careful removal of the gallbladder, as well as the stones it holds, away from the liver. Additionally, a specialised x-ray test is performed during the operation to ensure that no stones have previously escaped from the gallbladder and become trapped in the bile ducts. This is all performed at the time of the operation.
A stuck stone during the flush is different from a regular gallbladder attack. During the flush, a lot of bile is produced which serves as an excellent lubricant. The pain produced is relatively dull and mild in comparison with the very sharp pain experienced in a regular gallbladder attack.
At the other extreme, low-fat and low-calorie diets can ... lead to gallbladder disease. These diets can decrease the activity of the gallbladder, allowing the components of bile to sit and form stones. If the gallbladder hasn’t been responding to fat in the stomach, it doesn’t contract regularly and gets out of shape, just like any other muscle.
A condition known as calcification occurs in most diseases on the leading cause of death list and in illnesses such as kidney, gallbladder and prostate stones. Calcification is ... linked to chronic inflammation in atherosclerosis and end-stage renal disease, but it is unclear how this occurs.
If a small stone that formed inside the gallbladder gets stuck in the cystic duct with its valves and convolutions, bacteria may be trapped within the gallbladder, producing a serious infection. These bacteria are trapped in an almost perfect growing environment of warm, thick liquid with plenty of nutrients.
The 4 herbal tinctures used to prepare for a liver/gallbladder flush are Chinese Bitters, GCG, Coptis, and Curcuma. For people who still sleep well and have normal, regular bowel movements (not loose or hard), Coptis and Curcuma are not necessary for preparation, but can still be useful if problems arise during the flush (such as a stone which gets stuck in the ducts on the way out or more rarely, a gallbladder attack).
