Full House Although Full House ran from 1987-1995, it maintains a distinctly 1980s feel. The male stars sport mullets, the girls wear make-up, and the humor is zany in that un-ironic '80s way. The premise is cutesy enough: Danny Tanner (Saget) is a widowed dad raising his three girls -- D.J. (Candace Cameron), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), and Michelle (both Olsens) -- with the help of two guys, Uncles Jesse (Stamos) and Joey (Coulier).
Lori Loughlin was originally only hired to join the cast for six episodes on Full House where she would be Danny's co-host and then go out on one date with him. After much thought, they would have both agree to keep their relationship on a professional level and Lori would have gone on to other roles. Audiences liked her character so much that they decided to make her Jesse's love interest and, well, the rest is history! By the way, John Stamos (Jesse) and Lori did date for a while in real life!
Full House - The Complete Second Season The Olsen twins returned for further episodes FULL HOUSE in 1988, and this collection includes all 21 episodes from the second season of the show. TV presenter Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) is the beleaguered father left in charge of three kids after his wife's fatal accident, but he gets a little help when his brother-in-law Jesse (John Stamos) and best friend Joey (Dave Coulier) move into the house. D.J. (Candace Cameron), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), and Michelle (played by both Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who alternate scenes in each episode) are the kids who keep the adults preoccupied, and in this season they have plenty of adventures as Jesse finds romance with Danny's TV co-host, Becky (Lori Loughlin); Stephanie tries to break a hula-hoop record; Valentine's Day brings a few surprises; and a spring cleaning causes outbreaks of both chaos and sentimentality. A nostalgic slice of '80s television, FULL HOUSE offers a welcome trip down memory lane for those who were there at the time, and a chance for younger viewers to witness the blossoming talents of the Olsen twins.

"Full House" The characters of "FULL HOUSE" are just too much. Uncle Jessie with all that hair and strutting like Elvis was just sooooo cool. Uncle Joey just says the funniest things and Danny tries just so gosh darn hard to be a good dad. Then you have those wonderful girls. DJ tries to act like a grown up and know it all, but really still needs help from her Uncles and Dad. Stephanie is just so cute and perky but always has her opinions.
