DENVER, Dec. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced preliminary traffic results for November 2007. Revenue passenger miles increased 22.5 percent to 788,821,000 for November 2007 from the same period last year. Available seat miles (ASMs) increased 14.1 percent to 1,009,512,000 for November 2007 from the same period last year. This resulted in a load factor for November 2007 of 78.1 percent, an increase of 5.3 points from November 2006, when the airline reported a load factor of 72.8 percent. The airline carried 832,269 passengers during November 2007, an 18.2 percent increase from November 2006. The airline reported passenger yield of 11.14 cents for the month of November 2007, a decrease of 3.0 percent from the same period last year.

Revenue passenger miles increased 31.7 percent to 798,754,000 for December 2007 from the same period last year. Available seat miles increased 23.6 percent to 1,099,556,000 for December 2007 from the same period last year. This resulted in a load factor for December 2007 of 72.6 percent, an increase of 4.4 points from December 2006, when the airline reported a load factor of 68.2 percent. The airline carried 808,765 passengers during December 2007, a 26.5 percent increase from December 2006. The airline reported passenger yield of 11.55 cents for the month of December 2007, an increase of 1.5 percent from the same period last year.

Frontier Airlines was founded in 1994 by executives of a before incarnation of Frontier Airlines. Scheduled flights began in 1994 utilizing Boeing 737 aircraft. Like the original, Frontier flies out of Denver and competes with United Airlines and its subsidiary Ted, each of which use Denver as a hub. In the overdue 1990s, Frontier began purchasing Airbus aircraft and present DirecTV in-flight tube on its new aircraft. In mid-April 2005, Frontier officially became an all-Airbus fleet, retiring its last 737.

As of January 2007, Frontier Airlines offers both channel assistance and Frontier JetExpress assistance between Denver and Albuquerque, Austin, Dayton, Omaha, Oklahoma City, and San Jose.
