Winter is cold in France, and due to recent shortages of gasoline many French people have been unable to receive their government-mandated ration of two Molotov Cocktails per week. As a result, citizens have taken to burning cars to keep warm.
Every French region has dishes all its own. These dishes follow the resources (game, fish, agriculture, etc) of the region, the vegetables (cabbage, turnip, endives, etc) which they grow there. Here is a small list of regional dishes which you can find easily in France. Generally each region has a unique and widespread dish (usually because it was poor people's food):

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- A team of American and French researchers has discovered duplication of the alpha-synuclein gene causes Parkinson's disease in a French family. In affected individuals, age of onset, symptoms and symptom progression are similar to that observed in people with sporadic or unexplained cases of Parkinson's disease. The findings, reported in the Sept. 25 issue of Lancet, suggest a direct relationship between the amount of alpha-synuclein produced, the onset of Parkinson's disease, its severity and progression.
Contrary to stereotype, snails and frog legs are quite infrequent foods in France, with many French people enjoying neither, or sometimes having never even tasted them. Quality restaurants sometimes have them on their menu: if you're curious about trying new foods, go ahead.

Online sales is not the only area where French businesses are making Internet strides. E-administrative services are evolving and increasingly used by a growing French online population. The third edition of the “ADELE barometer for administration services online” carried out by BVA for the ADAE agency in March 2005, showed that 25% of French people had already carried out administrative procedures via the Internet. A 93% satisfaction rate, stated in the same survey is a sign of the efforts and ingenuity of French companies in using new technologies, and it should come as no surprise that France ranked third in the international “Performance of public services: new expectations, new experiences” survey in April 2005.
