A product of the West Ham United youth system, Frank Lampard made his Premiership debut vs. Sheffield Wednesday in 1996. After being on loan for one season at Swansea City, he becamse a regular for the West Ham squad.

A graduate of the academy at West Ham United FC, Lampard made his Premiership debut in 1996. He spent a spell on loan at Swansea City FC but was back at Upton Park as West Ham won the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 1999. He joined Chelsea FC for €16m in the summer of 2001 and missed just one Premiership game in his first two seasons at Stamford Bridge. He was Chelsea's best player as they reached the UEFA Champions League semi-final in 2003/04, and played a starring role again the following year, scoring 19 goals as Chelsea won the Premiership title and the English League Cup. That display saw him named as Football Writers' Player of the Year, and he scored 16 goals as the London club retained the Premiership crown in 2005/06.

Lampard went to the Brentford school in Essex, the same school former Milwall striker Neil Harris and model Jodie Marsh attended. He joined West Ham as a part of the East London club's revered youth system in July 1994. About a year later, he signed his first professional contract. Welsh club Swansea City, who were then playing in Divison 2, took him on loan in October 1995. His first senior goal came for the Swans against Brighton and Hove Albion. After his return in January 1996, he was a regular in the youth team of the Hammers and was captain of the squad which reached the FA Youth Cup finals that year.

Lampard was born into a family of bakers, with every male member being a Frank Lampard. Born with man boobs, or moobs in place of his legs, Frank was given two prosthetic legs carved out of wood by his father that was stapled on to give him mobility, despite the fact he looked like a spastick penguin. This story was adapted into a movie in the form of Forrest Gump. His confectionary background dictated his choice for playing with West HAM meat factory and Chelsea BUNS co. Widely regarded as being a useless sack of arse, Fat Frank has always found it hard to deal with the fact that he is vastly inferior to Steven "Stevie G" Gerrard.
