1. Jim Henson -- Characters
   Henson's horizons expanded in a number of ways after The Muppet Show. He created new television programs. In 1983, Fraggle Rock was introduced, featuring completely new Muppet characters. Airing on HBO in the United States, the program featured three species living below ground, the Fraggles, the Gords, and the Dozers. The show primarily followed five Fraggles, including Gobo and Mokey, and promoted harmony in living. Fraggle Rock aired for four season in the United States, Canada and several other countries.
2. New Edition -- Album
   Since their "Home Again" reunion in 1996, the members of New Edition have been relatively quiet as far as new albums have been concerned. A few N.E. compilations have been released such as: Solo Hits, All the #1's, Lost In Love.
3. Jim Henson -- Companies
   Shortly after selling the Muppets to Disney, the Jim Henson Company made a special distribution deal with HIT Entertainment to have many of its family showcase programs released on DVD, video, and television. The current contract expires in 2009. With the assistance of HIT's distribution deal, Henson has been able to produce several behind the scenes documentaries and featurettes to accompany these releases, namely for the Fraggle Rock season box sets and the 2005 collector's edition release of Emmet Otter's Jug-band Christmas. Other home video releases to come out of the deal includes 2 volumes of Mother Goose Stories and 4 releases of Animal Jam.
4. Landmines -- Children
   During January 1997--September 2002, a total of 6,114 injuries from landmines and UXO were reported to UN MACA in Afghanistan. The number of reported victims of landmines and UXO was highest in 1999 and decreased gradually; sex and age distributions of victims remained relatively stable (Table 1). Injuries in males were approximately 10 times higher than in females. In each year during 1997--2002, approximately half of all injuries occurred in persons aged <18 years. The greatest number (1,830 [29%]) of injuries occurred in children aged 10--14 years, followed by persons aged 15--19 years (891 [14%]) and children aged 5--9 years (834 [13%]). During this period, the proportion of UXO-related injuries increased, and that of landmine-related injuries decreased (chi square for linear trend = 114.8; p<0.001).
5. Boost Mobile -- Services
   Boost Mobile is a Pay-As-You-Go mobile phone service provider that works to gain market share among young users. A majority of its 4.5 millions customers are under the age of 25. It is hoped that Boost Mobile VDL will decrease the time it takes content and application providers to bring new services to the Boost Mobile network.
6. Gibraltar -- British Bulldog
   During the many years that Gibraltar was a British fortress, most of the area was taken up by military installations, and the civilian population was kept small. Many of the laborers lived in the Spanish border town of La Línea. The population now consists of people of Spanish, Italian, English, Maltese, Portuguese, German, and North African descent. More than three quarters of the population is Roman Catholic; there are Protestant, Muslim, and Jewish minorities. English is the official language, and Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese are spoken.
7. Farscape -- Farscape's
   Farscape-1 is John Crichton's space module that was originally designed to be able to survive high acceleration from a gravitational slingshot about the Earth. Crichton arrived in the Uncharted Territories via this craft, after accidentally traveling through a wormhole from Earth. Though Farscape-1 is considered relatively primitive by the standards of the other races Crichton has encountered, it is somehow able to navigate wormholes where some other, more sophisticated craft, notably Peacekeeper Prowlers, cannot without liquifying passengers.
8. Jim Henson -- Jim Henson Hour
   Jim Henson created the muppets in 1969 and, since then, they have become known worldwide. His muppets have starred in many television shows (Muppets Tonight, Muppet Babies), which have won many awards. He ... created other T.V. shows such as, The Storyteller, Fraggle Rock, The Jim Henson Hour and The Dinosaurs. The muppets have also starred in five movies: The Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper, The Muppets Take Manhattan, A Muppet Christmas Carol and Muppet Treasure Island. Other movies made by Henson are The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth and The Witches.
9. Jim Henson -- Muppets Take Manhattan
   Sesame Street demonstrated the Muppets' undeniable appeal to children, but Jim strongly believed these characters could entertain a much wider family audience. After years of trying to sell the idea for The Muppet Show™ in the U.S., Jim finally received backing from a London-based television producer, Lord Lew Grade. In 1975 production began at Grade's ATV Studios, and soon the world was introduced to a new family of unforgettable characters, such as Miss Piggy™, Fozzie Bear™ and Animal™ (performed by Frank Oz); The Great Gonzo™ (performed by Dave Goelz); Scooter™ (performed by Richard Hunt); Lew Zealand™ (performed by Jerry Nelson); and Rizzo the Rat™ (performed by Steve Whitmire). Hosted by Kermit the Frog , accompanied by the musical meanderings of Doctor Teeth™ and the Electric Mayhem Band™, the Muppets were joined each week by an international pantheon of [great ] guest stars, from Gene Kelly and Rudolph Nureyev to Steve Martin and John Cleese. The success of The Muppet Show naturally led to Hollywood, where the Muppets starred in six feature films: The Muppet Movie™, The Great Muppet Caper™, The Muppets Take Manhattan™, The Muppet Christmas Carol™, Muppet Treasure Island™ and most recently Muppets From Space™.
10. Jim Henson -- Jim Henson Productions
    The Jim Henson Company is an entertainment company recognized for its innovation in puppetry, animatronics, and computer graphics. Originally known as Muppets, Inc., and later Henson Associates ([H]a!) and Jim Henson Productions, the company, founded by Jim Henson, is best known for having created the Muppets, now owned by The Walt Disney Company. The company has won over 50 Emmy Awards and Nine Grammy Awards for its work. The company headquarters are located in Los Angeles which is ... home to Jim Henson's Creature Shop, a visual effects group that has had it's hand in international film, television and advertising. The company once had a television distribution arm, the short-lived Henson International Television which was sold to HT Entertainment. Also on the lot are the Henson Recording Studios known for it's combination of vintage and modern state of the art equipment.
