The Ford Mustang is an automobile produced by the Ford Motor Company, originally based on the Ford Falcon compact. The first production Mustang rolled off the assembly line in Dearborn, Michigan on March 9, 1964, and was introduced to the public at the New York World's Fair on April 17, 1964, and via all three American television networks on April 19. It was one of the most successful product launches in automotive history. The Mustang sold over one million units in its first 18 months on the market. The Mustang remains in production today after many decades and numerous revisions.
Ford Mustang As household a name as Folgers, Marlboro or Kraft Mac 'n Cheese, the Ford Mustang is the longest surviving of the affordable breed of classic American muscle cars. Sold always in coupe and most times in convertible and 2+2 fastback forms as well since its 1964 introduction, the Ford Mustang is the only one of the original pony cars to enjoy an uninterrupted production run. It hasn't been easy, either, as oil crises, tightening emissions standards and corporate budget cuts have put the Mustang's future in doubt on more than one occasion. Ultimately, though, its iconic status within the Ford lineup and popularity with consumers has seen it through.

Biodiesel Kit The Ford Mustang has an extremely old history. First invented in 1964, the Mustang's legacy still continues till this day. Throughout the early years, Mustangs were a huge success. Continuing to outsell competitors, Ford sold over 1 million cars in the first 18 months. The Mustang was so successful that GM desperately tried to make cars to compete with it such as the Corvette, Camaro, and Firebird. The Mustang's legacy continued for over 20 years until the 80s.
The Ford Mustang has a long and glorious history. Debuting in 1964, Ford Motor Company never knew that the Mustang would still be one of their best selling models over 40 years later. Saleen, Roush and Steeda only to name a few.
Mustang with glass roof The Ford Mustang gets a whole new outlook with a glass roof option for the 2009 model year. This option comes in response to drivers’ increasing desire for natural light in their cars, particularly as their commutes get longer. It ... offers a convenient midpoint for those looking for the view of a convertible with the climate-control and structural integrity of a traditional coupe.
2008 Mustang GT vs. 2008 Dodge Challenger With Ford Mustang sales on the decline, and gas prices at all-time highs, the topic of gas mileage and Ford's popular pony car seem to go hand-in-hand. Many people believe sales have declined because consumers are looking for more fuel efficient vehicles. Others believe rising fuel costs, along with an overall increase in other goods and services, has resulted in a consumer slow down. However you look at it, one thing's for certain; gasoline is expensive these days and cars with poor fuel economy pay the price.
