A heavy drug user, Dick had already suffered enormous losses in the years preceding Hartman’s death. His Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor Chris Farley had died of a drug overdose in 1997, and in early March of 1999, Second City founder Del Close died of complications due to emphysema. At the end of the same month, “Suddenly Susan†(NBC, 1996-2000) star, David Strickland, a close friend of Dicks', killed himself after the two went on a three-day drug-and-alcohol-fueled bender. After less than two months, the final episode of “NewsRadio†aired – less than two weeks later, Dick slammed his car into a telephone pole. He was eventually charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession, felony possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and fleeing the scene of an accident. After pleading guilty, the spiraling star spent 18 months in rehab and the charges were dismissed. - Alida Valli
From All Movie Guide: Born in Italy, Alida Valli (often billed simply as Valli) was the daughter of an Austrian journalist. Possessed of a haunting beauty even at an early age, Valli began her European film career when she was 15, after brief formal training. Though few of her Italian starring films have stood the test of time, she remained popular throughout the early 1940s. When she refused to make any more films for Italy's fascist regime, she had to virtually go into hiding to avoid arrest and execution (ironically, her mother was shot as a collaborator by anti-fascists in 1945). After the war, Valli and her then-husband, composer Oscar de Mejo, came to Hollywood at the invitation of producer David O. Selznick. Signed to a contract, she spent most of her Selznick years on loanouts, starring in such trivialities as Miracle of the Bells (1947). - Jack Nicholson -- Years

Radio is suspicious at first. But Coach Jones is persistent, even enlisting the help of Radioâs mother. Jonesâ friends and family are taken aback as well since, until he met Radio, all his energies were poured exclusively into football. Slowly, Coach Jones earns Radioâs trust and opens up a new world to him. - Bechtel Corporation -- World

Gunmetal Gray was sitting at a bar table, contemplating on taking a job, when a drunk Johnny Blaze interrupted his conversation in order to hire him to kill his demon alter-ego, the Ghost Rider. Blaze added that he wanted Ghost Rider dead no matter how, how much, and no matter what, and Gray agreed to take the job. While Ghost Rider was pursuing a couple of drug dealers, Gunmetal rode up next to him and blew a hole in his gas tank. The resulting explosion threw Ghost Rider from his bike, and Gray was able to use his shotgun to blast Ghost Rider’s head to bits from point blank range. When this didn’t serve to kill the Spirit of Vengeance, Gunmetal drove a truck full of liquid nitrogen into Ghost Rider. The explosion and spilling of the chemical all over the street ended up killing many innocent bystanders, but Gray and Ghost Rider survived.
