In FINAL FANTASY, the tale begins when four young warriors, each possessing a Crystal, are summoned to bring the world back to a harmonious elemental balance. During their voyage, they discover a nefarious entity has created turmoil in the structure of time in order to take control of the world, causing the heroes to travel to places they never imagined possible.

In Final Fantasy 2 go down from the first town to a peninsula and move around till a foe come out. There you fight very hard foes like Brains. You get major stat boosts if you survive. Great if you started a new file.

For the most part, it seems that these changes have been made in order to bring the games in line with the expectations of players who started on later titles in the Final Fantasy series. Final Fantasy I, for example, loses its somewhat archaic magic system - which divided magic into "levels" and gave you a fixed number of casts at a certain level - in favour of the more common MP points system, as found in pretty much every Final Fantasy title since.

The sound in this game is like every Final Fantasy game, great. The sound is very suiting for the Final Fantasy game and the sounds during other events such as certain events or battles, is very well done. The sound effects are very well placed and help you get into the game once you start playing. The music in the game sets the mood just like in all of the classic Final Fantasy games. The music is mild and not overpowering and contributes to the whole feel of the game.
