Fidel Castro is the dictator of Cuba who overthrew the democratically elected President, Fulgencio Batista in 1959. He is the most brutal man the world has ever known, except for Saddam Hussein, and is responsible for the murder of more people than both Hitler and Stalin combined. He assassinated John F. Kennedy in 1963 by disguising himself as Marylin Monroe and giving Kennedy such a bad case of syphilis that it blew off a side of his head while he was in Dallas. Castro is currently dead but may be revived shortly according to the Cuban government.

Fidel Castro was a young Cuban lawyer when he decided to begin an armed struggle against dictator Fulgencio Batista in 1953. He failed at the time and was nearly killed, but lived to lead a second and successful rebellion. Those who hoped that Castro would become a democratic reformer... were disappointed when he instead became the hemisphere's longest-serving dictator.

In 1952 Fidel Castro became a candidate for Congress for the Cuban People's Party. He was a superb public speaker and soon built up a strong following amongst the young members of the party. The Cuban People's Party was expected to win the election but during the campaign. General Fulgencio Batista, with the support of the armed forces, took control of the country.
