Ferrite is a tool for automating text manipulation, conversion and data extraction. Includes easy-to-use filters for common tasks including adding/removing margins, headers, columns, etc. Uses Javascript for scripting. Manipulate rows/columns in CSV files and export as XML. Can descend directories and execute Javascript to select files based on size, date, etc. Useful for website updates, log analysis, parsing text, exporting to CSV or XML etc

Ferrite or [A]lpha iron (α-Fe) is a materials science term for iron, or a solid solution with iron as the main constituent, with a body centred cubic crystal structure. It is the component which gives steel and cast iron their magnetic properties, and is the classic example of a ferromagnetic material.
Ferrite has an excellent resistance to demagnetisation and can be magnetised before or after assembly without danger of losing any performance. It can be used in operating temperatures ranging from -40°C to + 250°C. However it does have a poor temperature coefficient losing approximately 0.2% of remanence per degree C when heated above zero.
Ferrite measurements are recorded together with the time and date. Readings can be requested by pressing a key on the meter or directly from the computer keyboard. Alternatively, readings can be taken automatically at regular time intervals.
Ferrite content analysis provides critical data pertaining to delta ferrite content in austenitic stainless steel and duplex materials. The delta ferrite percentage or number allows a technical assessment of material corrosion susceptibility, mechanical properties, service suitability, and reliability.
