Family Guy: Peter Griffin
built 228 days ago
Back by popular demand, Family Guy presents life as seen through the eyes of Peter Griffin -- the father in a not-so-average family of middle-class New Englanders. Peter's loving wife, Lois struggles to keep normalcy in their home life. Their household consists of children Meg, an angst-ridden 16-year-old; Chris, a sweet-natured 13-year-old; Stewie, a diabolically clever one-year-old who is set on conquering the world; and Brian, the smartest family member who just happens to be a dog.

Developed by High Voltage Software, Family Guy will feature the offbeat humour of the show's writers in an action/adventure game focusing on the lovable oaf Peter Griffin, his world domination-obsessed son Stewie and their talking, martini-drinking dog, Brian. Throughout the game, these popular characters wreak havoc in many of the same locations depicted in the animated series.

Family Guy'[S] first and second seasons were made starting in 1999 after the Larry shorts (its predecessor) caught the attention of the Fox Broadcasting Company during the 1999 Super Bowl commercial. Its cancellation was announced, but then a shift in power at Fox and outcry from the fans led to a reversal of that decision and the making of a third season, after which it was cancelled again. Reruns on Adult Swim drove interest in the show up, and the DVD releases did quite well, selling over 2.2 million copies in one year which renewed network interest.[3] Family Guy returned to production in 2004, making two more seasons (for a total of five) and a straight to DVD movie, Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story. The sixth season began airing in Autumn 2007, with a seventh season scheduled to air in the Autumn of 2008. In addition, Family Guy went into syndication in Autumn, 2007.

Critics agree...of all the animated shows featuring a talking dog and a maniacal baby, Family Guy is certainly one of them! Join the Griffin clan for another 16 freakin' funny episodes that'll keep you laughing long after the series gets cancelled again. Witness panicky Peter's first prostate exam; see lovable Lois jump into bed with Bill Clinton; watch miserable Meg get a crappy job at the local superstore; hear crazy Chris sing in a goth band; follow boozing Brian all the way to Iraq and back; and get a rare glimpse of smitten Stewie as he hooks up with a very young old flame. Sweet!

Stewie Griffin is a little diapered baby of the Family Guy, who is quite the show stealer. Nobody can shock you out of your skin as much as Stewie. Family Guy quotes are resplendent with cutting retorts from Stewie. Read on.

Comedian Art Metrano is suing Peter Griffin (actually producers of Family Guy) for a segment in the DVD film Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story in which he claims Jesus is shown performing one of his signature gags. Metrano is suing for copyright infringement, claiming the act shown in the DVD is identical to one that he created and has performed in venues such as the Tonight Show.
