- Toontown -- Mickey's Toontown Fair
The pint-sized thrill ride in Mickey's Toontown Fair is this roller coaster found at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm. The premise behind this is that guests fly in Goofy's out of control airplane as it swoops, twists and turns and eventually ends up going through the barn much to the surprise of the Audio-animatronic chickens inside. The ride itself is fast but fairly tame, and short, less than a minute in length. It's a great ride for the young and the young at heart, although the cars are small and are not designed to hold larger adults. - Barbara Stanwyck -- Working
Barbara Stanwyck is a fantastic actress. When she makes a gesture as she speaks a line, she has a way of suspending that motion in mid-air for a split second on a certain word which gives an imperceptible emphasis to that word. - East Fife -- St Andrews
East Fife's best years were undoubtedly in the decade following the Second World War. During this "Golden Period", the club won the Scottish League Cup on no fewer than three separate occasions, as well as adding a third Scottish Cup final appearance to its achievements. The club’s league record is ... impressive. In the five seasons between 1948 and 1953, East Fife finished its Scottish First Division (then the pinnacle of Scottish football) campaign in third place twice and in fourth place twice. In one of these seasons, 1952–53, East Fife were still in the running for the league title with only a few games remaining, eventually finishing only four points behind eventual champions Rangers. - Hannibal
In the next few years Hannibal was reduced to minor operations which centered mainly round the cities of Campania. He failed to draw his opponents into a pitched battle, and in some slighter engagements suffered reverses. As the forces detached under his lieutenants were generally unable to hold their own, and neither his home government nor his new ally Philip V of Macedon helped to make good his losses, his position in south Italy became increasingly difficult and his chance of ultimately conquering Rome grew ever more remote. In 212 he gained an important success by capturing Tarentum, but in the same year he lost his hold upon Campania, where he failed to prevent the concentration of three Roman armies round Capua. Hannibal attacked the besieging armies with his full force in 211, and attempted to entice them away by a sudden march through Samnium which brought him within 3 miles of Rome, but caused more alarm than real danger to the city. But the siege continued, and the town fell in the same year. - Vanessa Redgrave -- Timothy Dalton
At a press conference Redgrave said she feared for the life of Zakayev if he were to be extradited to Russia on terrorism charges. He would "die of a heart attack" or some other mysterious explanation which would be offered by Russia, she said.[9] On 13 November 2003, a London court rejected the Russian government's request for Zakayev's extradition. Instead, the court accepted a plea by lawyers for Mr Zakayev that he would not get a fair trial - and could even face torture - in Russia. "It would be unjust and oppressive to return Mr Zakayev to Russia," Judge Timothy Workman ruled.[10] - Woody Woodpecker
Woody Woodpecker is an animated cartoon character, an anthropomorphic woodpecker who appeared in theatrical short films produced by the Walter Lantz animation studio and distributed by Universal Pictures. Though not the first of the "screwball" characters that became popular in the 1940s, Woody is perhaps the most indicative of the type. - Tamworth -- North America
Despite a fairly poor 2006–07 league campaign, Tamworth once again found themselves at the 3rd Round stage of the FA Cup. Norwich City beat The Lambs, and 18 days later Tamworth manager Mark Cooper and assistant manager Richard Dryden were dismissed with the club at the foot of the league table. They were replaced two days later by the former Tamworth managerial duo of manager Gary Mills[3] and assistant Darron Gee[4], who arrived two days later. Despite the change in leadership Tamworth were relegated after finishing in 22nd position. Tamworth kicked off the 2007–08 season in the Conference North. - Arc the Lad -- Characters
Arc the Lad II ... allows players, after enlisting the aid of a character named Lieza, to capture and tame monsters for use in battle. As with other party members, these monsters gain experience and can subsequently be customized to one's liking. The Arc Arena add-on disc provides players an opportunity to import their captured beasts for use in tournaments. There they can gain experience and win items, which can then be exported into Arc the Lad II. As an added bonus, two players can pit their menagerie of creatures against one another. - Tugjobs
Tugjobs is the handjobs site of BangBrothers. They get amateur girls to do tugjobs or handjobs, and the movies are recorded from a point of view (pov) angle. The site has a user-friendly design and structure. - Laurence Olivier -- Old Vic
For almost a decade, Olivier was among the cinema's most sought-after leading men. A master craftsman, he gloried in disguising himself with accents, putty noses and wigs. But in the 1950s, the ground shifted under him. Marlon Brando's new, more natural style made Olivier and his "craft" seem old-fashioned. He'd been all but written off as a dinosaur when he answered his critics by playing a seedy, vaudeville has-been in The Entertainer—starting with a plummy accent, then letting it disappear as he virtually deconstructed his own art.
