With her brilliant showing in Australia, Zuluaga hopes that tennis will become more popular in Colombia. “A lot of people follow it (tennis), but soccer is the main sport there, now ... Formula One,” Zuluaga said.
Justine and Zuluaga keep their own serve quite easily, until a 2-2 score. Justine hits a passing shot in the fifth game and creates two break opportunities. She makes the first one, thanks to a backhand along the line, 3-2. The next game is a bit different. Fabiola has multiple opportunities to break back, but Justine saves every breakpoint thanks to good first serves, 4-2.
This time it was Zuluaga who gained the upper hand as she eliminated Asagoe, 6-3, 6-2. Zuluaga won three more matches to reach the quarterfinals where she was scheduled to play heavily-favored Amelie Mauresmo of France.
Zuluaga will face top-ranked Justine Henin-Hardenne, who ousted fifth-seeded Lindsay Davenport 7-5, 6-3. Neither was in top form, but Henin-Hardenne managed to win the big points, as she did last year when she beat Davenport 9-7 in the third set.

"I just want to keep going and going and going and doing good things for my country," Zuluaga said. "We are not in a good way at home, so all of (these) things are really good for us.
