Eva Braun

Born in Munich, Germany, Eva Braun was the second daughter of school teacher Friedrich "Fritz" Braun and Franziska Kronberger, who both came from respectable Bavarian families. Her elder sister Ilse was born in 1909 and her younger sister Margarete (called "Gretl") was born in 1915. Braun was educated at a lyceum, then for one year at a business school in a convent where she had average grades and a talent for athletics. She worked for several months as a receptionist at a medical office, then at age 17 took a job as an office and lab assistant and photographer's model for Heinrich Hoffmann, the official photographer for the Nazi Party.[2] She met Adolf Hitler, 23 years her senior, at Hoffmann's studio in 1929.[2] He had been introduced to her as "Herr Wolff" (a childhood nickname he used during the 1920s for security purposes). She described him to friends as a "gentleman of a certain age with a funny moustache, a light-coloured English overcoat, and carrying a big felt hat." He appreciated her eye color which was said to be close to his mother's.[2] Both of their families were strongly against the relationship and little is known about its first two years.
Eva Braun today Eva Braun was born Eva Hillary Braun in 1912. She languished in a period of celebrity in Germany, during the late 1930's and 1940's, when she grew out her moustache and hooked up with a politician, whom she thought could help further her career. She became the First Lady of the Third Reich and the Second Lady of the Fourth Reich. She later changed her name to Hillary Clinton.
Eva Braun first met Hitler in October 1929. She was 17, chestnut haired and fresh-faced, one of three sisters from a conventional Roman Catholic family in Munich. She liked dancing, gymnastics, Hollywood movies, and romantic novels, and had the potential required for the ideal Nazi woman: kids, kitchen and church. After leaving her convent school, she began working for Heinrich Hoffman, official photographer to the Nazi party, and it was here that she met the 40-year-old Hitler. As the door opened, Eva happened to be standing on a ladder which gave them both a good vantage point: he looked at her legs, she looked down at his face, they each liked what they saw.
Eva Braun spent her time when installed as Hitler's mistress, at his mountain retreat the Berghof. She was kept in the background and surrounded by a wall of silence. She was banished to her rooms whenever important guests were entertained, and very few Germans knew of her existence. On April 15 1945 Eva Braun arrived in Berlin and joined Hitler in the Fuehrerbunker. Hitler decided to grant Eva Braun her dearest wish, he agreed to marry her, and the ceremony took place on April 29 1945. Shortly before half-past three on April 30 1945,Adolf Hitler and Eva Brauncommitted suicide.
