Eric rematerialized, unconscious and nearly dead, within the sentient universe that called itself the Entity. The Entity was being eaten alive by entropic energy it called the Omega Storm, and after scanning Eric's mind, it realized that the strange new visitor might hold the only chance to escape to another dimension. It repaired Eric's damaged body as best as it could and planted a fragment of its consciousness in Eric's mind before the Portal Corp failsafe systems pulled Eric back some three minutes later.

Marjorie Lorraine (née Buckley) West, formerly of Wilmette, 80, died October 27, 2000 in Evanston. Widow of Arthur H. West. Born March 8, 1920 in Chcago. Survivors are three sons, Douglas (Deborah) of Ankeny, Iowa, Christopher (Veronica) of Wilmette and Kenneth (Patricia) of Woodstock; grandchildren Kevin (Lisa), Eric, Justin and Alex West; one great-grandchild, Jackson; a sister, Elizabeth (Edward) Sundstrorn; and a sister-in-law, Miriam West Blair. Preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy (Major) Stephens, and a brother, George (Patricia) Buckley

Eric is a hard working, dedicated individual who believes strongly in education. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Utah.
