Walt begins by asking Schmidt about Viacom's $1 billion lawsuit against YouTube. Schmidt says that YouTube is legal and that Viacom should simply have waited until the service had tools in place to better identify copyrighted content. Walt seems dubious.

On top of that, this is not the first time Mr. Schmidt has been very misleading. If you recall, Danny of searchcast daily ... interviewed Mr. Schmidt in regards to the YouTube buyout and when he questioned him about the lawsuit fund, Mr. Schmidt acted as if it did not exist.
