Endometriosis: Pregnancies
built 661 days ago
Many women are told that if they get pregnant it will cure their endometriosis. This is not the case. Women can have long periods without symptoms following pregnancy and breast-feeding. For many women their endometriosis does eventually recur.
All menstrual blockages, including endometriosis, can prevent implantation and a healthy pregnancy. At each of the sessions you will receive a thorough diagnosis and natural treatment plan for resolving the causative factor of the endometriosis. At The Fertile Soul retreats (especially session C), you will learn what caused the blockage, how to recognize and remove the obstruction, and how to open up to implantation.
About 10 to 15 per cent of women of childbearing age have endometriosis. It's uncommon under the age of 30. There's no proven way of preventing endometriosis... some women find that following pregnancy they no longer experience any problems.

If you are suffering from endometriosis-related infertility, you will likely be placed on a Gn-RH agonist. This will help to slow pelvic bleeding and preserve fertility. IUI or IVF is then recommended in order to achieve pregnancy.
In addition to these new hypotheses, investigators are continuing to look into previous theories that endometriosis is a disease influenced by delayed childbearing. Since the hormones made by the placenta during pregnancy prevent ovulation, the progress of endometriosis is slowed or stopped during pregnancy and the total number of lifetime cycles is reduced for a woman who had multiple pregnancies.
Despite these possible complications, many women with endometriosis are still able to conceive. It may take them a little longer to get pregnant, but most women with mild to moderate endometriosis can become pregnant. During pregnancy, most women have no signs or symptoms of endometriosis.
