This new fad called the Emo Scene will soon die out. Literally. People think that Emos are all talk when they talk about suicide. Well think again. Over these past few years, the suicide rates have been one of the major causes of deaths in teenagers! This isn’t just a small statistic that sits there… This rate is increasing ever so rapidly every year!
Emo hairstyles are definitely shaggy, and sometimes spiky, so use scultping gel to your advantage. It is a good idea to find the most potent gel on the market, especially if you want to create spikes. Simply make the hair spiky or shaggy when wet by working a gel through your hair and teasing out the bold effects. Dry your hair, adding more gel and spray until your spikes are absolutely stiff. Do not brush. Emo hairstyles are not for the faint of heat, so don't worry about having a stiff head of hair after all of that spray.

There is no need for concern when making your emo hairstyle, what you feel like doing goes! It's not a normal look so therefore people expect it to be all over the place and to be and over all crazy hair cut. Most emo girls and men guys to the jet black hair for their hair cut and they like the unnatural, uneven look it gives it more spunk. Even though the emo look is becoming more common, it is still an uncommon way for a hair cut. So have fun with it dye it black, chop it up and add some crazy highlights.

Starting in the mid-1990s, the term emo began to refer to the indie scene that followed the influences of Fugazi. Bands including Sunny Day Real Estate and Texas Is the Reason had a more indie rock style of emo.
There is no rule when it comes to Emo bangs or Fringes. Dare to be as bold as you want. Break out a razor and texturize your fringe. Make the bangs as choppy or chunky as you like. The important part is that you have fun molding your bangs or fringe in a direction that makes you happy.
Being an Emo is all about being unique and comfortable with one’s self. Similarly, an Emo hairstyle is ... all about individuality and self-expression. And if you feel that you are not one to follow the flock either, then you might just want to consider picking up any pair of scissors or a razor and doing up your hair the Emo way!
